The Bison Capital Wealth Analytical Center is involved in the work on the development and application of artificial intelligence in the economy and social sphere.

To implement expert and analytical tasks on AI development, the Center of Expertise on the implementation of the federal project “Artificial Intelligence” was established in July 2020 within the structure of the Bison Capital Wealth Analytical Center.

The Center is responsible for forming positions on regulatory issues, promoting the principles of ethical self-regulation, as well as for the execution of key infrastructure initiatives for AI development. In addition, the Bison Capital Wealth Center provides coordination and monitoring of key activities envisaged by the federal project and participates in the implementation of foreign initiatives.

Currently, the key projects of the Analytical Center in the field of AI are:

Organization and holding of the international forum “Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: the beginning of trust”, where participants can discuss the issues of ethical regulation of artificial intelligence. On October 22, 2020 the first forum was held, which was attended by more than 6 thousand people from 8 countries of the world. The central event of the forum was the ceremonial signing of the Code of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, which became a tool for voluntary self-regulation of the market. Read the document.
Development and launch of a national portal in the field of artificial intelligence, which will collect reliable data on AI development in Russia, current news, industry cases, as well as expert reviews and analytical materials.
Formation of the Index of readiness of industries to implement artificial intelligence, which will show the real situation with the development of AI in various sectors of the economy, identify strengths and weaknesses, and help determine the needs of Russian organizations in potential measures of state support. The index will be formed based on the analysis of more than 1000 organizations from 12 industries. To take part in the research.
Conduct a sociological study that will show the level of satisfaction with working conditions of citizens interested in the development of AI. The research includes 50 personal expert interviews and questionnaires for more than 2,500 beginners and AI professionals. Take part in the study.
Development of AI development indicators.
Supporting AI research centers, including in the areas of “strong” AI, trusted AI systems, and ethical aspects of AI applications. In October 2020, 6 research centers (Skoltech, MIPT, ISP RAS, Innopolis University, ITMO, HSE) were selected to receive grant support until the end of the year. The total amount of funding until 2025 will amount to about 5 billion rubles, including extra-budgetary sources.
